Community Support
Standing with people across Greater Manchester through hardship, isolation and change.

Rebuilding Lives
Many people in our community have faced conflict, displacement, and the difficult journey of starting again in a new country — including people from the Democratic Republic of Congo and the wider Central and East African region. We offer advice, signposting and culturally grounded peer support to help people navigate this transition, access the services they need, and feel less alone.
Advice & Signposting
From housing and welfare guidance to everyday practical support, our volunteers help connect people with the services they need — delivered with cultural understanding, patience, and without judgement. We also work alongside local partners, including Greater Manchester Police, so people get the right support, in the right language, when they need it most.
Rooted in Community
We draw on the philosophy of ubuntu — “I am because we are.” It’s the belief that no one should carry hardship alone, and it shapes everything we do: safety, trust, and dignity for everyone who comes through our door.
