We are delighted to share that M’Mbondo Manchester has been awarded funding from the Autotrader Digital Inclusion Fund, managed by Forever Manchester.
This funding will support our DigiConnect Community programme — a series of six free digital literacy sessions open to people across Oldham and Tameside who face significant barriers to going online. Many people in our community currently cannot book GP appointments, access benefits, or stay in touch with family overseas because they lack both the devices and the confidence to use them independently.
With this award, we will purchase refurbished tablets for community use and deliver free, bilingual sessions covering smartphone basics, accessing NHS and council services online, video calling, and staying safe on the internet.
